Betula Pendula (Silver Birch) is a large narrow conical deciduous native tree. Peeling white bark. Diamond green leaves turn yellow and orange in autumn. Catkins are produced in early Spring. Graceful arching weeping branches. A very versitile plant suitable for most sites. Grows 2-3 feet a year as a young tree. Very attractive when planted close together in groups.
Suggested Planting
Use as a windbreak, spacing 60-90cm apart.
