Cornus alba Kesselringii (Black Stemmed Dogwood) is a deciduous shrub, grown mainly for its purplish-black stems in Winter which contrast well with the red and yellow stemmed varieties of Dogwood. Good Autumnal colours.

For a thicker hedge, plant a staggered double row, 6 plants to the metre.
