Cornus sanguinea (Common Dogwood) is a native shrub commonly used for hedgerows. Stems are green and red. Excellent autumnal colours. Suitable for damp chalky positions.
Suggested Planting Distances
Plant a single row, 4 plants per metre.
For a thicker hedge, plant a staggered double row, 6 plants to the metre.
