Needs a well drained soil and is reasonably quick growing in fertile soils. Grows from 6 - 18in per year. Best trimmed in late summer or early autumn. Makes an excellent topiary plant.
Suggested Planting Distances
Plant in a single row, spacing plants 30-40cm apart.
For a thicker hedge, plant a staggered double row, again spacing plants 30-40cm apart.
